High tackle stat, for a wide receiver, tight end or halfback also helps when you are a gunner during kickoffs (the ones on the side of the field getting after the returner of the opposition). It doesn’t matter if his awareness, throw power and throw accuracy are over 90.

Turn off the second controller and move the 3rd controller to the other team. Turn the second controller back on and you have 3 controllers on a team.

For easy ring builder points start a game and do the kickoff or return. Then pause the game and select supersim and sim the rest of the game. You will get points.

You can pass a ball as a QB, and you will be rewarded for every pass you complete and TD’s you scored, rushing or passing, and it doesn’t do your influence any harm if you get sacked like a true QB does, which is a bonus. But they don’t contribute to your season objectives. Then again, in the very early stage of NFL AFL, many kickers were in other positions as well, so you can get to the Hall earlier.

Even if you can win, don’t guarantee it, you’ll have negative ego, and become a Lone Wolf. Though it is useful for slow QB’s kickers, and it is certainly a must for a punter because they don’t do 40 yard dashes in the scouting combines.

If you are using people like Adrian Peterson, boost his tackle stats as well so they can be like Maurice JonesDrew. Don’t try and return every ball when it is forth and short. If there is any chance of a safety, try and sack the punter before he get the ball off. A higher tackle stat helps. You may lose influence for that if you only do a normal tackle (rather than hit stick tackle), but then you can get it back when you return a subsequent safety punt. You can even tackle someone easier when a pass is intercepted.

For easy ring builder points if you want to guarantee a win create a team of Hall of Famers and you wont lose.

You won’t pass a ball like LaDanian Tomlinson would, even if you audible it.
